Welcome to The Rotary Club of Albuquerque

I’m honored and grateful to serve as your President for 2026–2027 as we celebrate our club’s 110th year of service and friendship in Albuquerque.

Although my transition from President-Elect to President came sooner than expected, I step into this role with a caring heart, a commitment to our club, and gratitude for the support of our members. I appreciate Grady’s leadership and the foundation he has helped build. As we move forward, I look forward to continuing our shared theme of “Create Lasting Impact” and the meaningful work already underway.

To me, creating lasting impact means coming together with a shared purpose and using what we each have to offer. Our time, talents, ideas, and willingness to help can make Albuquerque a place where people feel supported, opportunities grow, and kindness, integrity, and fairness guide our actions.

Our impact comes through the things we do every day and the way we treat one another. This year, we have served our community through a health fair and will continue that service. We are also helping children discover a love of reading, cleaning up along the Rio Grande, providing students with supplies that support continued learning in school, supporting nonprofits through food and gift donations, and participating in the annual bell ringing with the Salvation Army. We are also looking ahead through our $1 million “Create Lasting Impact” project. Together with the Albuquerque Rotary Charitable Foundation, we are inviting organizations to propose projects that give people of all ages a welcoming place to connect, learn, and find moments of rest and reflection. I’m excited about the opportunity to create something our community can enjoy for generations to come. Every act of service matters, and every member has a part to play.

My hope is that every Rotarian feels welcome, valued, and inspired to get involved in a way that is meaningful to them. I want us to enjoy our time together, support one another, and take pride in the difference we make. We will build on our past successes, welcome new opportunities to serve, and continue the friendships that have kept our club strong for more than a century.
